Our pre-requisites vary according to current vacancies and as a rule, our internal cross-training, coaching and mentoring program aims to have all our Technology Associates multitasking-capable. Here is an example of the criteria we would use to select a potential i18n engineer:
- 4+ years overall software experience
- Java, C++, C and shell scripting
- Multi platform experience (e.g. Solaris, Linux, Windows)
- Knowledge of Java Internationalization, test harness
- Experience with various web server technologies (HTML, HTTP, CGI, Java Servlet, etc)
- Industry and business awareness (e.g. affinity with Unicode &/or other organizations)
- Flawless English speaker, committed, flexible team-player
